I program too; some days 11 hours, some days 2 or less. I have never been able up to do a steady schedule.

And if I code too much over a few days, I take time off to heal my brain

But however tacky that is, the congressman is senile, and not the only one in congress.

Very much so this. Been free of direct bosses for a decade ( clients are the replacement bosses though).

But I can fire my bosses, and have once. And I have total control about my workplace ( home).

There are many downsides, it’s not all good. I think the trade off is worth it

Right? I left after they heavily promoted podcasts I did not feel comfortable about. But their long list of antics and misdeeds kept me away.

I’m not sure USA politics can be solved by replacing individuals. Seems to be an institutional issue
