It’s a natural thing that occurs when your pay is based on stocks that respond heavily to quarterly results. Stay in for 2 - 3 years, drive stock prices up, get out, and leave the mess for the next leadership team.

Could have simply been looking after an elderly parent.

Maybe we can send Trump to North Korea for a long term visit. They could live in the palace together.

Yankee is a nickname for all Americans in the rest of the world.

Streaming services didn’t exist when this court case happened. Many artists were already suing Napster, but weren’t famous enough to get publicity. Someone released an unfinished edit of “I disappear” which is what triggered Metallica to get involved. Dr Dre also jumped into the suit but I’ve never heard anyone talk about boycotting his music or the music he produced.

As greedy as you think they might have been, without them, a lot of smaller bands would have just washed up. People work really hard to make music, shouldn’t they get paid for it?

My employer gets around it by refusing to hire anyone in Colorado for remote jobs. Guess the same will happen for New York.

The coach won’t be giving them salt directly, but will always provide a sports drink which contains salts.

Ever watch any sport and a player falls over with a cramp? They have drunk too much water and not enough electrolytes.

Here’s a study from one hospital in Oslo, Norway. Norway is not considered a hot region of the world. Between 2010 and 2015 they treated 31,000 patients in the ER from a population of 135,000 for electrolyte imbalance. That’s roughly 18 patients a day. This is not some sort of fringe case.

That’s a very incorrect statement. NaCl, KCl, and MgCl2 are essential for our bodies to function appropriately. If you are working out for an hour or mowing the lawn on a hot day, you are mostly correct. You can replace the lost salt though a balanced diet. If you have sustained sweating, such as when you run a marathon or play a match of football, it can be deadly to not replace these salts.

It should be on the utility to handle the swings in load and generation. If it takes some time for your plant to start up, why isn’t there some sort of short term storage? Dynamic pricing causes solar to have a very low return and will cause us to continue to rely on fossil fuels longer. Utilities handle swings in load normally. A great example is there’s a massive peak of electric use in England during commerical breaks on the BBC. Everyone has gotten up to put the kettle on…
