I’ve been on the internet long enough to know things. The obvious thought crossed my mind when I found this anime, but the description compelled me to at least give it a try. At episode 3 I have to say that I don’t hate it. It’s pretty slow so it’s not for everyone but I’m pretty interested to see where this goes. I really like how chill it is and the story has potential so far.

This whole anime is calling me out.

I spent most of my life not knowing who I was because I was hyper vigilant of the people around me and kept adjusting my personality to be “socially acceptable.”

This is how you punish honesty. I am unfortunately really good at lying, but it’s still exhausting. I just can’t comprehend why people can’t just let people be “weird.” Why is conformity such a big deal anyway. Who gives a shit.

This anime may have gotten me a little worked up with unpleasant memories. Still, it’s cute and I love it and I want moar.

So someone’s actually reading Haga’s bug reports. I was wondering why the debuggers were stuck in the game and eventually I landed at an absurd theory that the game world is actually real and the devs are fixing an isekai or something. Watch me look like a fool when it’s revealed that all this happened because a suit wanted number go up.

This was a hilarious episode and I cannot express the joy I’m feeling that the adaptation is finally out… almost.

This could have been a 10 but the unnecessary fan service annoys me 😩

I don’t dislike fan service inherently but it just feels out of place in RoshiDere. It’s not like the manga doesn’t have any but it’s annoyingly pronounced in the anime.

Some good laughs. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

I always related to Abiko sensei the most and that annoyed me. Maybe I’ve been a bit harsh with hating on adaptations in the past, but I feel like I at least try to isolate which parts specifically I like and dislike. I’m not a fan that can never be pleased, at least I hope so.

I wonder how much of the manga they’re gonna adapt. It’s been a while since I read the earlier chapters so the sequence of events is a little fuzzy in my head.

Now this is what an adaptation should look like. Play into the strengths of the medium and elevate the source material. It really hits different from the manga. The abstract sequence felt like it used the momentum up to that point to take me on a ride with Melt as he grew as an actor. It fits perfectly both in universe and from a meta perspective since this is also an adaptation.

Next up, the showdown between Kana and Akane. I’m excited!

This is probably the show I was most excited for even with Oshi No Ko and a few other bangers coming out. It did not disappoint. The earworm is annoying but so am I 👌
