I bought a Mobiscribe recently, for the same reasons. It’s an eReader with an eink display, but it’s an Android tablet. I installed F-Droid, and then NextCloud (to access my ebooks) and Librera Reader. I also use it for listening to podcasts (via Bluetooth, since it’s an Android tablet) and taking notes with the stylus.

Everyone should be vegan. It’s great for your health, for the environment, and more importantly, it would save more than a trillion (yes, with a T) lives every year.

In a hundred years we’ll look back and be ashamed of what we did to animals.

Huh, that’s weird, 7.x has been out for a long time.

How are you trying to install? From the terminal you can do something like this:

apt update
apt install ardour

Yeah, you can install from the package manager and later donate if you find it useful!

MIDI definitely got better with 7.x, and I think 7.5 is supposed to have finished the refactoring they did on the tempo maps. Before, it was common for a note to not play if started exactly at the beginning of the bar, you had to nudge it a little bit.

What OS are you using?
