It shows how much people are fueled by culture war nonsense in rural Oregon. I lived in one of the counties that voted to join Idaho and I never heard a single reason from anybody that was reasonable. It was all based on far right talking points about transing the kids or taking the guns. Meanwhile stuff like minimum wage that would actually affect everyone was just ignored.

Insane. Supporters of Palestinians are always getting the hard treatment and condemnations meanwhile supporters of Israel and their occupation of Gaza are never treated the same.

The pope has some based takes, this is not one of them. Shows people can have some good opinions but still be awful.

Also Mexicans drink around their kids during social events all the time. It’s a joke in my family that the only reason adults put on parties for their kids is so they can drink with their friends.
