I often see this accomplished with dashed interjections - dashes! can you believe that? - as a way to break up a sentence while still continuing with a single train of thought. But I always support the invention of new punctuation, how long has it been since we got any? We’re well overdue.

Baldur’s Gate 3.

I played through one single player save and two multiplayer ones with different groups, enjoyed it all - but only got a little ways into Act 3 on any one save. A combination of middling performance with my older rig and just having sank so much time in I burnt out a little.

Still think it’s a fantastic game, but I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to finish it - I feel like I’d have to start a whole new save.

I feel like we scare our DM with this sometimes, when he takes a single player into another room to discuss something private and comes back to an in-character discussion over how easy it would be to poison a major NPC

Official casual matchmaking can be rough, as you can gather from the comments, but it depends heavily on what maps you select to play and what region you are in. If it turns out to be too rough, check out community servers instead; many will be heavily modded custom stuff, but many more will be just plain vanilla gameplay.

Also, pick up mastercomfig and go through the installation. It will improve performance and also make the game look a bit better if you have a better PC.

If you end up liking the game, I would drop a few bucks to buy some crate keys from the in-game store. This will make your account no longer F2P, greatly expanding your backpack size. You can trade or sell the keys later on the community markets to pick up all the weapons and some hats (check scrap.tf, it’s a good site for this).

I promise you that despite the garbage that has accumulated over like 15 years, it’s still a good game. You say you’ve played Overwatch - that game took some inspiration from this one, so you may feel some similarity. Good luck!

I am subscribed to over 100 channels, ranging from daily uploads to 1 video every few months. Frankly I don’t need more stuff to watch. When I do want to find something new, it’s either a recommendation from a friend, something I saw on a different social media, or something I searched for myself deliberately.

This change isn’t a good thing, it’s Google trying to pressure more people into giving up more data, but the “threat” of them removing their algorithmically recommended content from my feed is not a threat at all, it’s a bonus if anything.

That’s not democracy though. That’s my only point here is that isn’t related to the concept of democracy at all.
