Before this movement started, I bought a lot cheap under armour shirts with a mixture of 60/40 % cotton to poly.
Idk. what mixture you are going with, but up until now that percentage (and slightly off) works, really well as the cotton soaks the sweat. I’m washing it on regular temps (in a regularly cleaned washing machine and with sports detergent) and have no probs since over two years. Maybe you can find something similar.
As for EDC shirt I really just go with cotton shirts lately and use the same washing routine. I tried wood based shirts (wiljd) but they loose shape and color too early. And (pure) merino shirts are to expensive and will attract holes if you’re washing them like normal shirts. Merino mixtures might be an answer (but still expensive).
We’re using headings for different types of inventory (hardware/office items/…) and then a block of subheading, bulletpoint combination (serialnumber, date of acquisition, whereabouts,…) for each item and associated item.
The toc is generated automatically and helps browsing through.
This might be an unpopular opinion/solution but even for two small size sister companies we are doing inventory in a version controlled markdown file 🫣
You could always look through helikon-tex’s palette for good trousers.
They offer a good quality for small money, but their sizes are odd. If you are lucky to find something matching, you’ll be fine.
Listen up. Varustelka started as surplus store and they are producer of a custom brand called Särmä.
Their gear is on par with Savotta (same sewers) and the customer service is excellent. But yes; their main audience is the tactical community. But they also have great items for hiking and re-creational stuff (take a look at the merino stuff).
