According to a 4yo I know, the only downside of her little friend having two mummies is that poor boy has to draw 2 (two!) Mother’s Day cards.
Yo Mama jokes are yet to arrive at the nursery.
Anon triggered empty nester’s brooding instinct. Stand by for awesome home baked cakes.

What if it’s a new couple of two homeowners who move in together, should they sell one property before the relationship solidifies?
What if the grandchildren are in secondary school when Nana dies, is the family allowed to hold on to this second property for the few years until the kids move out/in?
What if you accept a contract position in another town, should you be forced to sell and buy, or is it okay to rent out the home you have and rent another elsewhere?
My point is that there is nuance at the lower end of the scale, and the enemy is big corporations and landlords of massive portfolios.
On the one hand, it has zero impact on my life, since I will not be buying these cars for another 15-20 years, if ever. On the other, seeing evidence of enshittification everywhere I look is the thing that will radicalise me, much sooner than that.
French is too generalised, in my experience.
Paris, they’ll pretend they don’t understand neither your English nor your 100 words of French.
Towns in the country, you meet indifferent professionalism and you kinda get by in English.
Rural areas, you encounter the greatest of enthusiasm for your knowledge of the local language, and just as well, because those 100 words are all you can rely on for the entire duration of your stay.
Of course childhood bullying is never justified or acceptable, and victims of it should always be protected against unjust violence, physical and psychological…
… but maybe, this little shit has always been an insufferable twat, and had it coming.
