Individual actors as personalities have less star power, and are less prominent culturally because there’s more competition now. There’s indeed still a lot of high quality modern TV series around.

To be fair, over half of Korean content could be described as slushy romcoms. It constantly bangs the same drum lol.

I’m building a big nested feed system of all lemmy communities.

From what I know of it, it seems as if the “Kings” tv show from 2009 might qualify?

I mean this exists on a few instances. Namely Piefed. That’s fine, but obviously most people don’t use Piefed. The implication here is that it should be in the base lemmy model.
