Timeouts might be from the server struggling since the reddit blackout is bringing in a lot of users at the same time right now. I’d wait a few days and see if the issue disappears or maybe a second account on a lesser known instance might help.

Same. It’s not laggy or loading or anything, it’s just a slower scroll speed but it’s noticable. Can be compared pretty well if you open jerboa and a second app split screen and then scroll in both. Jerboa has some sort of ‘breakes’ built in.

I don’t know the details but from what I heard the developer was bothered that Lemmy was either “too communist” or “not communist enough”. I can’t remember which one it was and no guarantee that it’s really true (it’s just hearsay and I might be mistaken).

Make sure the app is not in Samsung’s deep sleep setting. Any time I (or the system itself) put an app on the deep sleep list, it resets logins.

I don’t understand what the android mode is. I assumed it would look like the default android material you, uncolored since you probably can’t access the wallpaper. But instead it looks like nothing I have ever seen on android. Is this imitating some OEM skin or something?
