In apprentice school. We started chatting during the breaks and showed each other memes. Started with Imgur, then Reddit and now lemmy lol. We started sitting next to each other during the lessons as well to show the other more memes. When we finished school we stayed in touch and when my relationship with my ex failed, we immediately started dating. We bought a house and are now a little more than one month married.

glaub ich auch. Ich finde die Idee, dass man regelmäßig Prüfungen ablegen sollte, super. Besonders wenn man sieht wie viele ältere Leute unnötige Unfälle bauen. Aber ich frage mich wie das dann wird wenn man zwei Jahre auf nen Termin warten muss, das macht es diesem Vorschlag nur unnötig schwer

Das schöne ist ja, dass man auch noch Geld bezahlen muss, um sich zur Fahrlehrer:in ausbilden zu lassen… Kann zwar vom Jobcenter übernommen werden, aber ne Garantie gibts da auch nicht

I think it’s completely valid to vote according to your feelings. That’s how you determine what you find important in those you vote for. Drawings are a form of art and the purpose of art is to invoke specific feelings in the consumer - apparently more people enjoyed the first drawing and voted for it, which is completely valid for a competition for “drawings”; it wasn’t a competition for drawing skills, just the pictures themselves.

What I find much more problematic for democracy is misinformation, especially if deliberate by news outlets, politicians or lobbyists. They know how to manipulate feelings to get what they want.
