It’s insane to me that he keeps pushing for policy changes that we know either don’t work, or are fundamentally dangerous to the general public. So much of what he pushes has been done in the states for years with horrible results.
The fact that these idiots look at them and say “lax gun laws, private healthcare, punishing prisons with a broken justice system, tax breaks for the wealthy. Seems to work in the states” fuck me, Americans have been trying to change this shit for years and he’s sprinting right towards it.
America continues to try and drag down the rest of the world into the dirt with them, rather then fixing themselves and actually improving their country.

He probably assumed every country would come and kiss his ass when he announced it. Someone finally convinced him how badly he fucked up and is now walking it back. He’s done the same fucking thing over and over.
Talk out of his ass, walk it back, then claim the win for fixing the problem he started. I doubt this will last 90 days, and I hope that other countries keep up their own terrifs.
His handlers probably told him to take it easy on Canada and make it seem like he’s getting along with PM Carney.

Agreed. These all sounds like worst case scenarios. if these are the only choices, then it seems like we need to join the EU right now because we are fucked another way.
Of course it doesn’t take into account that the states might just collapse into civil war or military coup at this point.
