Despite all my rage I’m still a rat refreshing this page.

I use arch btw.

Credibly accused of being a fascist, liberal, commie, anarchist, child, boomer, pointlessly pedantic, a Russian psychological warfare operative, and db0’s sockpuppet.

Pronouns are she/her.

Vegan for the iron deficiency.

Direct message

I get soo much rainbow chard, which I loath, so I’m always looking to find ways to eat it without it tasting or feeling like chard.

I get why he grows it, it’s reliable and healthy and rounds out the harvests, but my god it tests my ideological leanings every fortnight when I pick it up :p

Similar idea

I cooked the lentils till soft, then again till crumbly with chaat masala and other spices I had pre mixed that smelled right, + garlic and ginger, then mixed into a biscuit dough based on soy milk and oats.

It was kinda fiddly, but the extra frying helps develop the spice flavours. I guess potato would work in place of flours to get a nice tacky dough.

Idk if that’s enough to work from. Sorta based on umm kachori? but I can’t be bothered making pastries so they become biscuits.

Well, thanks for apologising. I just wanted to share and maybe discuss the food, not write up and format a recipe.

If you want vegan recipes there is another community here: !recipes@vegantheoryclub.org

  1. Do not ask for a recipe without otherwise engaging the OP (No posts that are just “recipe?”)

We are not food bloggers. Sometimes we’re excited to share and will tell you the recipes we used but this isn’t required. Instead try doing your own research and tell us what you learned and we can talk about it.

less theory, more examples, my personal opinion on the author is mixed but it’s a good text for people new to “wait, anarchy isn’t British empire propaganda about anarchy?” https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/peter-gelderloos-anarchy-works

If leftist: I believe that oppressing others for my own personal gain is wrong, there is no consistent framework which excludes animals from moral consideration that does not also exclude some humans. Using intelligence to rank who you’re allowed to hurt is Nazi shit.

If not leftist: you know how watching someone hurt an animal makes you sad? Killing animals to eat hurts them.

Hear hear. If someone is threatening or harassing you mods and admins are the first port of call.

If you think someone has silly ideas then by all means critique ideas but trawling through a random person’s comments to highlight them for public shaming is juvenile bullying and completely unproductive. If someone isn’t targetting individuals and is just saying something you find aggravating block and move on, the alternative is this website degenerates into a cycle of reddit drama ‘le epic owns’ drivel.

Ditching consumerism really helped me, I think.

I have been trying to deprogram myself for years. I used to just default to this pattern of looking for a product for each problem. Now I try and think more holistically and make do more or look to see if I can reframe my desires.

Review from Canadia finds: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2020&q=cannabis+health++review&hl=en&as_sdt=0,5&as_rr=1#d=gs_qabs&t=1731272057908&u=%23p%3DZQNk8wwxTvkJ

Legalization has been associated with increased adult hospital attendances for psychiatric distress and vomiting, unintentional ingestion of edible cannabis products by children and hospitalizations for cannabis use disorders in adults. There is conflicting evidence on whether cannabis‐impaired driving has increased since legalization. There is suggestive evidence that presentations to emergency departments with psychoses and cannabis use disorders may have increased since legalization.

Evidence of slight increases in psychosis, consistent with hypothesis that cannabis can trigger episodes in people with pre-existing conditions. Evidence that taking too much is uncomfortable.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanpsy/article/PIIS2215-0366(22)00161-4/abstract

finds that strong cannabis might make mental health worse.

Realistically inhaling it is the most harmful thing if you’re not prone to bad brain.

People have used it for a long time without serious harm but the higher dose modern strains are increasingly associated with stuff like hyperemises syndrome. So uh as with all things enjoy in moderation, we are all but food for worms, it’s probably safer than driving a car or whatever.

Q:

Definitely lying awake at night beating myself up for uh, cooking? It’s cooking. I default to making stuff from scratch anyway

I’m still sick, this is bullshit :/ I wanna get back out to the gem fields but a walk around the block has me coughing up my lungs.

Why are people so cavalier about infecting people, you wouldn’t feed someone bad food, why do people insist on hosting social events while sick? Sickness isn’t inevitable, it spreads largely through deliberate decisions. I know of no infection you’re better off having than not, many infections could kill or cause long term damage.
