I have a top 1% IQ, so lower than you I guess, and my pupils are also super big. I’m pretty sensitive to light, though not as much as you. I remember multiple people remarking on it to me during my school days, and my eye doctor has never had to dilate my pupils before examination which is a nice bonus.
I never really understood this. What’s the difference between sealioning and calling someone out for saying stupid shit? I feel like “sealioning” only exists as a term people can use to reframe a situation from “I talked shit and can’t/won’t back it up yet won’t admit it” to “you’re aggressing against me by expecting me to stand behind or explain my words”. Am I just a big dunderhead?
Edit: oh ok, I RTFA lol, makes a lot more sense. I guess the original comic is just not a great example of it in my opinion, but that makes sense since it’s just a silly comic
Being up in the middle of the night in the summer of 2003 watching adult swim in my (parent’s) basement as a kid. I had horrible anxiety and trouble getting along with other people for various reasons, and my parents weren’t much help. When I was here watching this, in a room I never usually went in, it was like being in a different world. I felt calm for the first time in forever, and the weird adult swim stuff made it feel even more otherworldly and separated from my normal life. The adult swim bumps and content from that time are so cemented in my mind but looking at it now they’ve changed so much, so many times. I’ll still remember it the way it was.
As a completely unqualified observer, I would say you should pursue the thing you like over wasting two years of your life doing something you don’t care about.
Kinda sounds like you know what you want to do tbh lol
Woah, can you elaborate on this please? I haven’t heard of this, and we use a lot of these devices at work. Which devices are affected? What’s the software/chrome thing?
