I had to blow the dust off this one https://conanzeromus.ytmnd.com/
praised for its seamless open world, amazing bosses and freedom of choice.
repetive mini bosses and dungeons, rather empty open stretches in the overworld
These can be true statements from players with different engagement levels.
If you only do the content you stumble across toward the end, it may well feel boundless.
But if you cleared every annoying catacomb, every gaol, etc then you start to see the seams and artifice.
I guess the boss funneling is accurate, because the entry toward the Morgott bottleneck is technically a funnel.
In fairness I adore the bosses because they made me level up as a player and now Consort Radahn is my absolute favorite boss to spank.
The real universal praise should be for the jump button 🙏
Hell ya! One of Quark’s finest scenes:
They have weapons. You have weapons. Everyone has weapons. But right now, no one has a clear advantage. So the price of peace is at an all-time low. This is the perfect time to sit down and hammer out an agreement. Don’t you get it? Attacking the Cardassians now will only escalate the conflict and make peace more expensive in the long run. Now, I ask you, is that logical?
I want to believe in the age of enshittificiation that The Martian Chronicles will take on a new life.
It’s so bleak how it ends with highways and diners everywhere.
Your 4 year goal reminds me a lot of Cogmind’s development and the video about the journey

Best of luck
Is this sorta stuff doable with free software? If so, can you point me in the right direction? I definitely have some scenes with this treatment in mind.
That was a great read, thanks.
Kinda surreal to read about disco without also reading about disappointment.
Wildest part is how good it sounded at the time:
“Things are at a fever pitch right now, I believe we can all agree. The devastation, the oppression, the genocide, the division around the world, I think it has reached a fever pitch, and I absolutely think that it’s causing people to lose hope in a lot of ways,” she says. “So yes, I think people are looking for something to hold onto, they’re reaching and grasping for glimmers wherever they may find them. It’s why I feel so honoured and blessed to be a storyteller, number one, and to be telling this story, because I believe it speaks to that. I believe seeing this utopian future, even with its challenges, is incredibly, incredibly hopeful and inspiring.”
