Oh burnout, my old nemesis. I’m so incredibly grateful to have a job that lets me work four longer days. I will have a mental breakdown if I work five days a week, but I can work 11 hours like it’s nothing. It has happened literally every time I have worked five days a week. But my current job appreciates my desire to concentrate my time on our busiest periods. I can maintain my high performance indefinitely with three days off.

Hey, please don’t insult people for being from the south or having southern accents. There are some pretty great things and people from the American south, myself included. And please remember that trans people are also a group that is often discriminated against for the way we talk.

I don’t really have an inner child. My childhood sucked. I have nightmares about feeling angry and scared and trapped like I did as a child. My adulthood just keeps getting better. We’re all on a list just for being on Lemmy. Statistically speaking, we are all markedly more likely to be dangerous left wing extremists than the average citizen. And tbh I imagine many Lemmings would be proud to be on the “might blow up a bank or pipeline” list, which only validates the existence of such a list.
