Landless2029
I’ve decided to run Linux as my main os next PC build… I said that two years ago and still haven’t built my new rig.
I’m terrified of switching. There’s just way too much information out there. So many options.
I’m used to being in a box with just one or two ways of doing things.
Does anyone know a good series to help windows users adapt?
Just need web surfing and gaming including steam vr
Wow that sucks.
I wonder what the correct procedure would be to pry open a dog’s mouth.
With a croc you can pry it open and hold with less effort than your account. I would hope since a dog is less armored one can strike at the head/throat to knock it out or cause it to go slack…
Edit: that rabbit hole got dark

If that happened with me and a pet/child think wrestle the dog down and elbow the throat is best course of action.
I’m also a fan of the esthetic of scythes. Unfortunately they’re unwieldy but so are most greatswords!!
There’s an anime where the main character got a oversized sword to take on a raid boss. Interesting design where it had a handle on the bottom and he held it with realistic physics.
Can’t find a screen shot for it tho.

Found the Manga page for it

I’ve been holding off on making the switch. This looks like a fantastic break down.
Planning on loading up a USB to live boot and play.
Then new PC setup as a dual boot. Linux main. We’ll see how long I last until I switch to windows.
“Do you like pain?” Hahaa
For real I was set on mint now I’m looking at zorin
Since the huge push to SaaS I’ve seen plenty of companies that essentially run thin clients.
The local workstations are just thier access to login to X website that host thier apps and data.
Zero reason for them to switch to win11 or buy new hardware due to “incompatibility”.
These end users can be trained to use mint or Ubuntu and be just as productive at work.
