Damit kann man perfekt leben.

Storing data for decades or even centuries is a difficult thing. But the problem isn’t the storage it’s the data format!

Who knows if a person 300 years from now has a program that can open .png or .jpg? Or the dreaded .doc and .xls that even Microsoft has problems with today. This poor future fellow probably won’t have the capatibilities and might need a few years or decades to develop a reader app.

So ein System erfordert irre viel Aufmerksamkeit von den Fahrern, weil sich die Geschwindigkeitsvorgaben laufend ändern. Das klappt auf Dauer nicht. Die Fahrer würden am Rad drehen (pun intended).

Warum? Lautstärkemäßig gibt es zwischen 20 und 30 km/h quasi keinen Unterschied. Man hört da eh nur die Reifengeräusche.

Die USA-Verhältnisse lassen sich nicht mit unseren vergleichen. Die Amis müssen wegen jeder Kleinigkeit mit dem Auto fahren, weil deren Städte so zersiedelt sind (suburbs). Darum fährt man dort auch gerne große Autos, weil die mehr wie ein fahrendes Wohnzimmer sind.

Zu Fuß oder mit Rad, Bus oder Zug kommt man dort nicht weit. Bei uns ist das anders.

Melde bei deinem Ordnungsamt, dass man in deiner Straße rast. Wenn die Polizei dann mal Zeit hat, kommen die und lasern oder stellen für ein paar Tage einen Blitzer auf.

Alternativ kann man sich auch bei der Stadt melden und darum bitten/betteln/drohen, damit die dort Bodenwellen, in Behördensprache “Verkehrsberuhigungshügel”, installieren. Dann rast da niemand mehr. Man muss hier aber sehr hartnäckig sein, da auch diese kleinen Dinger verwaltungstechnisch ein riesen Akt sind. Da hat niemand Bock drauf. Also geh den Leuten so lange auf den Keks, bis dein Generve schlimmer als die Arbeit ist. Irgendwelche Argumente mit Kindern machen sich auch gut. ;-)

I see no reason for that to change. Everybody is using them, knows how to use them and pretty much every AI software in existence runs on them.

It’s more expensive to ship across the oceans and requires a whole set of other infrastructure.

It only needs two ports and two docks. One of each at each end of the shipping route.

It’s exceedingly more easy to ship across land borders and to try and say my point isn’t valid like this is laughable.

Do you really think building and maintaining thousands of miles of roads and rails is cheaper than a few ports?
