I think you misinterpreted the intent of my comment. I was saying that everyone being some form of fag is a 4chanism, and wondered if the person replied to was familiar with 4chan, because the reason for the term is basically something you can’t have gone on 4chan and not seen.
This will end well
This, also, just because he may have had good coverage to do the surgery, stuff like that can have lifelong consequences that can need routine, expensive, medical care, for years, if not the rest of your life. Even if they are getting care, their insurance, even “good” insurance, could have denied much better therapy, for the cheaper route, which will have a major negative impact.
It is too early to be making up our minds about this arrest, this guy, etc. However, just because your parents have money, doesn’t mean you can escape the evils of the private healthcare system.
No, while the best schools in the country have done a lot to incorporate non-traditional educational tools, like Khan Academy, have changed the class time structure, have moved to more “hands on” methods of communicating ideas, and have been moving away from a dependence on rote cram/purge cycles, they will not be scrapping down time, and forcing kids to do things they think are boring. Instead they have more per capita resources to tutor kids on how to deal with their frustrations, scheduling, boredom, and doing things they don’t like, because they have to. They actually have people that will work 1 on 1 with kids to do this, or their parents will hire private tutors to work with them on that, and subjects they struggle with. However, they know that cutting it out isn’t the solution, it is to specifically teach the kids how to deal with it.
Like a religion, or culture. As other have said, location, family, etc. Also, advertising plays a role, and then there are people who get really into it and spend a lot of time focusing on different teams, and sports, until they just become team/sport agnostic or focus on the one that meets their statistical, and business practices, requirements.
