I’ve only found the one that’s a bunch of liberals cybersquatting the name of the former trump reddit sub.

A copyright holder has the right to control who has the right to create derivative works based on their copyright. If you want to take someone’s copyright and use it to create something else, you need permission from the copyright holder.

The one major exception is Fair Use. It is unlikely that AI training is a fair use. However this point has not been adjudicated in a court as far as I am aware.

Bike lanes are car infrastructure. Streets without cars don’t need bike lanes.

You’re only seeing celebrity pics because that is the only SFW community on lemmynsfw. By default most lemmy instances hide NSFW posts unless you’re logged in with an account set to show NSFW. They are running 0.18.3-nsfwpatch, so if you navigate there directly you will see everything, but viewing lemmynsfw logged out from another instance will only show you celebrity pictures.

Improving traffic lights doesn’t require AI, you just need sensors and some basic code to respond accordingly.

Most lights in the us run on a cycle without accounting for traffic at all. Most don’t even take into account the time of day.

Car dependent design is bad. But the us can’t even do car dependency well. You have to constantly wait at a light to leave the intersection clear for no one.

The solution is not AI the solution is having people responsible who care at least somewhat.

Standard gravity is 9.80665 m/s2. That the number defined by the metric people who set all the world’s units. In schools in the united states of america, we used 9.8. I don’t recal using any more precision than that. Gravity at the surface does vary, but you don’t need more presision than that for most academic purposes.

The point of verification photos is to ensure that nsfw subreddits are only posting with consent. Many posts were just random nudes someone found, in which the subject was not ok with having them posted.

The verification photos show an intention to upload to the sub. A former partner wanting to upload revenge porn would not have access to a verification photo. They often require the paper be crumpled to make it infeasible to photoshop.

If an AI can generate a photorealistic verification picture, it cannot be used to verify anything.
