I feel your pain for the declutter… I as well have about 3 cables plugged into a super charger and I love the charge times it provides, I hate the cables. I really wish they made a cable that rolled back up like those ID badge lanyards you attach to your belt. Only take the cable you need and once done it rolls back up into a small space.

That’s for sure. It’s crazy how stale the options have become. After Covid, they all cut menu options and choices to as minimum as possible, and anything new that they add is almost always just something that already exists but put together differently. I’m guessing it costs too much money to actually create something new, have it tested, and figure out logistics to purchase these new items for it to be worth the gamble of being a success or a complete failure.

I have been watching him for years. Love the reviews. I have to say lately he seems very angry. The titles reflect how disappointed he is before ever getting to the food. It’s great to have a negative review, but I really don’t like the titles reflecting that. I hope it’s just because fast food has sucked but lately somehow gotten even worse, and not just him following youtube trends to gain more clicks.

They did, I was about to say the same thing! I had to buy an adapter to make it work right. This was like mid to late 2000’s. I work in IT for a company and didn’t want to spend money on a new PC yet so I snagged one from work that was no longer used. It got the job done, but yeah it was crazy to see what they did to make it so you couldn’t swap or change some things inside.

As someone who works in telecom building phone tree menus, I agree. I have never said this is needed. I’m sure there are some companies with a million departments where narrowing it down with this would be quicker, but I’ve never dealt with one where 5 options and maybe a few subtrees didn’t get the job done. Takes under a minute to navigate. I believe the customer enjoys this more as well.

Wow, this looks great! So many memories of Heroes 3. I was never able to bring myself to try the others, but this may bring me back if reviews are ok.

Yup, 2 copies all encrypted. 1 copy kept Onsite and 1 copy kept offsite, and then 1 copy sent to long term storage offsite after 3 months (i forget how long we keep them in long term storage). 1 backup every 24 hours. If the server hosts a dB it also has its own set of maintenance rules with full and incremental changes going from 1 hour down to 15 min depending upon its usage and importance. The storage used is insane but it’s required for our area.

Of all the things our company does badly, I can actually say backups are pretty close to perfect! They are monitored closely for issues since they run all day every day and are tested quarterly to make sure they work. They also have to since it’s part of the yearly audit. Also, they have saved us numerous times from little things like people deleting stuff to full system restores due to bad changes. Thankfully, we never needed them due to our company being compromised… and really hope we never do.

Last week I had to leave on a road trip. I had to drive 11 hours somewhere, and to make the best time, I was leaving around midnight. So I was going to bed at 5 pm to be well rested. Now, any other day of the week, I have no problems falling asleep at this time if I have the chance. Normally, I can barely keep my eyes open since I have 2 young kids and work till 5 pm and will fall asleep easily if given the chance. This time? Nope, nothing, just me staring at the ceiling for 5 hours, realizing I was screwed… luckily, I had another driver and was able to cover 5 hours still before getting too tired… I even tried playing a phone game that puts me out if I play it for longer than 10 minutes. Let’s just say I never played it for over an hour before! The body sucks sometimes!
