Absolutely, most of the Cyberpunk genre is meant to entertain. The dystopian setting is used as a foil to a hyper-individualistic power-trip main character fantasy.

Nothing inherently wrong with that, but it’s good to be aware of. You don’t want to live in night city, you want to be the invincible god-like merc that lives in night city. You don’t want to live in the matrix, you want to be the bullet time kung fu Neo.

It’s for fun, it’s a fantasy.

Which is silly because the enshittification of the entire US government will long-term lead to an unstable and impoverished society that is also bad for rich people.

Nobody is going to win out of this in the end. It’s a lose-lose for everyone.

Its main weapons are the Gauss cannons mounted on either arm, its secondary weapon is an Annihilator-type laser mounted on its head and its third weapons are two Starburst rocket launchers mounted on its back that are used as effective anti-air weapons. A single Krogoth can destroy a sizable ARM base if it isn’t well defended.

What you described was not the actual outcome of the ruling.

The wedding website designer did not give them a website with no mention of being gay, that they could fill in themselves. The website designer was allowed to fully refuse them any kind of website at all. Just like refusing a blank wedding cake because the couple is gay.

The justification of the decision was not in good faith. It stepped away over the bounds of protecting against compelled speech. And they deserve to feel the consequences.

I disagree - it means you expect them to earn a wage regardless of how much you tip. Bosses should pay their workers a living wage, period. DD drivers shouldn’t have to rely on the kindness of strangers.

I agree, but if you pay for a service knowing that worker is underpaid by the boss, you are exploiting the worker just as much as the boss is.

The system is broken, it’s unethical to exploit the broken for your own advantage as well.
