For me, if it doesn’t come with a sharpener build into the sheath, it’s not good enough quality anyway (I do not generally buy expensive knives). I’ve moved a dozen times over a decade and lost pieces of so many silverware sets they’re disposable to me. Never had a knife long enough to NEED to resharpen it.
