I thinks it’s weird when people choose to make their online profiles open to the public then get upset when people view their content.
My grandfather lived with a bullet in his foot for the majority of his life. When he passed he was cremated and my mom asked if she could keep the bullet, but apparently nothing makes it out of the cremation process. Whatever metal you have inside you is turned to ash as well.
I’m in a class right now that requires a DMR locked live service textbook. I can only access it as long as I am connected to the internet. I live where 2 back to back hurricanes just hit so I expected to not have power or internet and wanted to copy some of the text from the textbook into a txt file. However, the DRM detects the copy/paste usage and limits the ability to only copy like 100 words. After a quick search I found out the dumb-asses that created this textbook site put all of the text in <p> tags in the plain html doc.
Because it shows many people are playing it. That in itself may be of interest to people who are considering purchasing the game. Also it let’s the devs know there is a market potentially interested in DLC or sequels. If the news was that player counts dropped to a very small number, neither of those things are likely to happen
I haven’t watched the new film yet, but saying that 7 remakes of the first movie have been made is total bullshit.
I used to work for Publix, a grocery chain in the south east US. They talk a big game to the new hires that no matter how high up you make it in the company, you’re not too high to do the tasks of the entry level employees. You’ll even see the CEO in some of the stores in Lakeland, Florida. I’ve always felt it was for show because all you’ll ever see anyone in a management position do is bag groceries. There could be a dozen other tasks that need doing that would take priority, but don’t worry, you have time to do those things because the guys making 6 figures are on bagger duty.
