LibreWolf strips Firefox of telemetry, adds privacy and security tweaks, disables Pocket, and ships with uBlock Origin by default. It’s basically Firefox with hardened defaults and no Mozilla connections.

If Firefox ever collapsed, libreWolf couldn’t continue independently long-term, they rely entirely on Firefox’s upstream codebase. They don’t maintain their own engine (Gecko), so they’d lose the foundation their browser is built on. It’d be the end unless a fork of Gecko emerged.

Man, distrobox confused the shit out of me the other day. I admit, I didn’t feel like digging and learning it. I just let it go once I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I want to install bazzite in a VM and mess with it for a while until I made sure I know what’s going and also make sure that I can get all of my programs. It’s going to be all flatpak and I am not a big fan of flatpaks. I know people swear by them, but I avoid them like the plague

That’s one of those things I’m trying to figure out. They’re actually a bit more complicated than your regular distro. They’re not that bad, but my mind is not there yet. I need some time to dig into it and learn things. I’m definitely switching eventually.

Immutable distros are a great invention, and soon I’ll be switching to one, once I figure out a couple of things.

Oh nice. I like the name and the logo, too. Yeah, I’m fine messing with the terminal. I do it daily on purpose and avoid GUI so I can learn. If one wanted to make a gui for Heirloom, what would be the best approach? I think it would reach more people.

Awesome, thank you. Were you able to download the .exe file for it? I run my windows games through the heroic games launcher and when I redeemed the game it wanted me to install Amazon’s games launcher and whatever so I just let it go

I like puzzles… A lot, but it depends on the types of puzzles a game has. I’ll check it out (if it works on linux of course lol). Thanks
