It’s definitely weird hearing the blue guys’ lines coming from modern over-enthusiastic voice actors. In my mind I guess I always imagined them talking like Coneheads or robotic munchkins of some sort.
I thought the point was to laugh at the world from an Asperger’s-y perspective pushed out to absurdity, because when you step back for a second our human habits and rituals really are goddamn bizarre. So hearing those observations not in some calculated alien monotone but rather fully dynamic cartoon pitches feels somehow jarring to me. Maybe I’ll get over it though.

I once discovered the most absurdly garish necktie in the universe. It was almost a plaid-type pattern of tightly intersecting horizontal and vertical colored lines. But every color was vibrant neon. No really, neon blue, neon orange, neon green, neon pink, neon yellow. There was no background color. It was almost uncomfortable to view, like my brain couldn’t process all the input.
And I don’t even know how to describe the texture. I guess it was like… corduroy? All bizarrely thick, ridgy fibers. Nothing at all like the silk of a normal tie. It had heft, with weight and warmth more akin to a scarf.
I was a broke student at the time but I’m still kicking myself for not buying it. Surely it didn’t even come from planet Earth. I could have owned an alien artifact, the necktie with quantum properties so advanced it could clash with every other garment imaginable.
If this is an Android phone, go install Accubattery and do what that says. It’s designed for many different phone batteries and associated tech (e.g. overcharge circuitry).
There are so many different models and variations in the electrochemistry, general advice is usually a miss.
If you insist on generalizing lithium tech, keep it between 30-80% charge for good longevity. The extremes of full and empty are rougher on it.

Unless they’ve fired the absolute moron(s) who designed the crafting and alien language system in NMS, I say stay far away.
I mean, combining dihydrogen and oxygen yields… NaCl? And you learn alien words literally one at a time? Oh but they have procedural generation! Except every single space station looks identical.
IMO This is a developer who does not respect their players. And somehow they’ve convinced a lot of people that periodically adding more shallow grindy fetch quests means the core gameplay isn’t garbage.

I don’t really love any that I’ve tried so far, but I dislike Audacious the least. FLAC, Musepack, and ReplayGain support are requirements for my library.
The last one I loved was foobar2000 on Windows, which supplanted Winamp. Linux UIs mostly feel a bit clunky by comparison. When the window has focus I like to have spacebar for pause/play, arrows up/down for primary gain, and arrows left/right for seek.
