I don’t understand how the high density housing solves traffic. In lieu of an additional solution (public transit) I think it would make traffic worse.
Edit
The argument seems to be: high density housing would naturally result in public transit infrastructure. I don’t think that line of reasoning makes sense, it’s certainly not an obvious inevitability that public transit will always, naturally appear.
It is remotely true. Waving German flags at soccer games was essentially non-existent. Germans are more likely to identify as European rather than German, compared to other EU nations. If you ask Europeans “is your culture superior” people like Greeks say yes but people like Germans say no.
A good example would be the UK or France .They believe they are top dogs but, by US standards, they are impoverished.
For better or worse it is unrealistic to expect business to just eat rising costs just because they got into business before the costs were so high. That would be nice but it’s just not how the world works. If that were true then entire economies would collapse every time there was an economic shock.
Remember when Google hired brilliant, talented engineers to build quality products?
Those were the days.
This entire weird conversation aside, Palestine/Israel conflict does not currently affect the West. It could hypothetically escalate until it affected the West I suppose.
Also, Israel is not in NATO. They are a “NATO partner” but are not legally tied to the security alliance.
You are an omniscient and all powerful God.
You create someone who is tortured and killed in a war at the age of 2.
You are a benevolent God because you helped that person experience the full spectrum of what life has to offer.
The 2 year old did not acknowledge your supreme authority because you did not give it a developed brain to grasp the concept and so they burn in hell for eternity, never able to fully comprehend what happened to them. Their entire existence is one of suffering and unexplainable agony.
You are a benevolent God.
