99 percent of the time I’ve had to deal with a bsod in Windows, it was a bad driver (Intel controllerless Wi-Fi, for one) or a software issue (Malwarebytes Premium or Kaspersky + insert networking app here). Sometimes it’s a hardware problem (stupid ASUS laptops with builtin RAM), and rarely, a bad disk clone (gotta do that bsdboot)

If you’re running it thru the FUSE driver perhaps…proprietary ntfs drivers absolutely rip

Also make sure last access time is turned off, that is a nice auditing feature for opsec, but it slows things down for the normal user. It should be off by default above 256GB drive sizes.

1500 miles a year… I do that in two weeks.

I absolutely would drive an ev if I could afford it, but I have a few years to go before my current car is worth a trade… and where I live I have no ability to charge at home, which is the one thing that would save me a lot of money.
