Censorship and preparing to disappear citizens? hmm… Can we taunt US exceptionalists like we do tankies with “Tiananmen Square” now?

I’m sure the mental gymnastics that will ensue will be hilarious.

US to the people in authoritarian countries:
why don’t they revolt and take back their country? I’ve made a fool proof plan if you need.

US when it needs revolution:
Best I can do is deal with 1 inconvenience in a day.

Gone are the days when major version upgrades meant performace and feature overhaul.

Now it’s just boring UI or AI bloat needing way more resources while doing nothing in the background.

As always, there’s always an unnerving silence in online discussions regarding US violent history. Replace US with any other country and the HN thread would lit up like a christmas tree.

They’re riding on the “decentralization” fad that just looks like Twitter. Once they hit some MAU milestone, they’ll lose the wording, implement ads and tracking, censorship, and be just like Twitter.

They will be tried for human rights violations when US Army and their President will be tried for human rights violations and war crimes.

Don’t hold your breathe.

Wikipedia relies on propaganda peddlers for anything politically related, who are mostly biased against non-western nations. duh?

Look at any international conflict and how they pushback against calling out bad things done by the west. Not just the west, but considering how english is popular and is used to spread misinformation worldwide. It’s not a coincidence. Their so called “moderators” are gatekeepers of the truth only allow what they agree with, unless there’s a big enough public outcry.

I think it’s right at home in the US.
