Don’t buy from [American multibillion dollar company], buy from [European multibillion dollar company instead!

I get it. I hate billionaires and their corporations, doesn’t matter from where they are, too and wish them to be taxed into oblivion. But the BuyFromEU movement is primarily about making Europe’s economy less dependent on the US first.

If we keep this momentum up, we can organize better and promote stuff from smaller, more sustainable, and local brands.

I’d love to see capitalism die. But right now, with everything that’s going on, we are in a situation in which we have to make sure that Europe stays strong and democratic. Because if it’s not, the whole anti-capitalism movement is dead.

No, you have to fix everything wrong with the world all at once. Otherwise we rather do nothing! /s

Or just buy whatever you want, but second hand. Not only does the manufacturer not get any of your money, but it’s better for the environment to. Cheaper as well. Probably my best ever purchase was three pairs of Diesel jeans for £10 each from a local charity shop.

Someone needs to buy new at some point in order to make the second hand market a thing

Oh sure, but the point I’m making is that buying new should ideally never be someone’s first choice. If you can’t find what you want at a charity shop, ebay or whatever then buy new, but do check first.

Here’s me wearing whatever jeans are cheapest and fit my apparently weirdly shaped body. I wish I had the opportunity to shop jeans by brand :D

Since GAP left europe I’m forced to wear Lewis or not being very uh comfortable…

I have 2 jeans that are european and sort of okayish, one from Monoprix (girl version, the pockets are so shallow you cant even put your phone there) and another french one Le temps des cerises.

Any tips for a tall big person warmly appreciated!
