I guess some things are just universal across cultures… this is exactly how my Chinese grandma works too

Huh, interesting. None of the Norwegian grandmas I know do that. It’s more like breakfast, lunch and dinner, maybe some waffles, and wine in the evening if you’re 18+.

Maybe not to this extent, but in my experience grandmas tend to take a lot of effort to make sure you never go hungry.
