Hej!

I know there are a lot of Norway enthusiasts as well as Norwegians / people living in Norway in this community and would like to ask if you have any product/brand recommendations to share with us at !buyeuropean@feddit.uk.

You can post directly to the community or comment here and I can pass it on as well :)

I hear you guys have some awesome wool sweater brands… please share!

Spenol. Best perfume free lotion in the world.

Fun fact: Today it’s mostly used as regular skin lotion, but the original market was for use on cow’s udders for the same reason you’d use them on hands.

Source: Grew up on a noggie dairy farm. We had a 4 liter jug at all times.

I’ve got to check this out, so many lotions have some perfume and it gets annoying… Thanks for the tip! And a fun fact indeed lol!

I trust cows, if they didn’t mind I wont either

Plus a clean cow smells magnificently without perfume anyway.

Agreed! Now I’m starting to miss living in an area where I might see cows sometimes… Always make me happy.

We always have Pommes Krydder available. Not necessarily for fries. Often for potatoe wedges. We would always have my mother bring some from her holidays. Nowadays we order online from https://norwegianfoodstore.com/products/hoff-pommes-frites-spices-hoffs-pommes-frites-krydder-130-grams

I also love Flatbrød. Been a while since I had that.

If you want a wool sweater, you can’t go wrong with Dale of Norway. And they are produced in Norway.

Yes, I agree. So I bought one a couple of years ago. And sure they are expensive, but I rather pay for quality that lasts.

Was recently in Norway and saw many people with cool cozy patterns and wanted to buy a wool sweater, but I didn’t have time to check brands. I think I might order one of those.

Thanks for the local tip!

I have some thermo wool mesh first layers from Brynje that I’m happy with. They produce in Poland.

I’m planning to get some new winter clothes and that looks like quite a good website they have with proper info, would you say Brynje clothes feel durable?
