go place pixels!
On a side note, I would say this is the very first time I have ever experienced a live canvas event like this, I learned about the mechanism of placing pixels and everything. Iām pretty glad I was brought to Lemmy then headed out my job to it (creating an account etc.) and then brought to the canvas event, I got excited when @eatham@aussie.zone first told me about the event. Iāve been interested to do this kind of stuff, and overall, that was pretty exciting after all! š
I tell you what, @eatham@aussie.zone is a man with a vision and he made it into reality! That Aussie flag looks great, I was worried it was too big but the combination of the other art overlapping and the Brits helping with the union jack meant it all came together in the end š
The guy lives in the country of drop bears and emu wars. Iām not gonna get on his bad side.
I also love how everything is getting more complete on its own. I always look around when Iām waiting for the pixel cooldown.
Plenty of space for nature at the bottom. Please help!
The end result was very nature :3
Sorry if my random Colombian flag disrupted the space, tho.
Thanks to the folks that completed the LGBQT+ banner from my Kiwi, and those who added the little trans-heart
š
The time lapse makes it look like there are still holes in the aussie flag at the end, I know for a fact thatās not the case (I made the little aboriginal flag under the union jack)
This has been amazing! So much fun, and everyone was so considerate of othersā art! Thanks to everyone who helped with the little Pokemon area with the Bulbasaur! I loved the additions (Cubone was my favorite).
Itās also cool how people helped to fill the white areas.
Thank you everyone who was involved with creating, fixing, and improving this event. It was a real reminder why I am here in the first place- the community spirit! š„°
