It’s been closed and neglected for decades, but now an old broadcasting- and observation tower in the hills above Oslo has finally been sold by city officials to an investor who plans to fix up and reopen it to the public. Christian Ringnes has big plans to restore the tower at Tryvann, so it can once again welcome visitors.

Finally Oslo can get its own Tyholt tower! I am expecting a revolving Egon’s up in there!

Feels a little small to be a revolving restaurant, though. You could fit what, 2 tables in that floor space?

I have no idea what it could actually be used for either, or what would make it a worthwhile investment
