Spez is terrified of people finding greener pastures, its almost as if he knows the platform wouldn’t hold up to proper scrutiny, so he’s trying to ride out that popularity inertia from the 9 years of development as long as possible. Imagine how much bigger the 2023 exodus would’ve been if Reddit didn’t remove all those posts recommending it, I’m just glad one of the lucky ones who were standing under one of the cracks in the ceiling that revealed the light, before the admins patched it and ordered their unpaid henchmen to start spreading propaganda against Lemmy by making it their Goldstein.

They didnt want me to know that I could be free from the shackles of corporate tyranny.

Did the admins remove your post, or the moderators of said community?

Regardless, I doubt that community is meant for posts that encourage people to stop using Reddit completely. Some more context would be nice

I mean this feeling of #Freedom in Lemmy

Freedom from corporate control.

Fediverse is so awesome. I’m glad people developed platforms like Lemmy (even tho I disagree with their politics, I still wanna thank them for Lemmy).

(Can y’all imagine the darker timeline where every bad thing in this timeline happened, but on top of that we also don’t have Lemmy? Don’t even wanna think about such a timeline…)

So move instances. Thats what I did when I figured out the admins think they can cosplay lawyers rather than actually speaking to one.

Votes are being manipulated by Reddit Admins. Reddit never have any transparency with the votes. At least on Lemmy, votes are federated so other instance Admins can verify if votes are legit.
