Wow I wasn’t sure about these numbers (thought possibly it’s that 50% of foster ends up homeless not 50% homeless were in foster). But in BC, Canada it looks like it’s 1 in 3 were from foster care and that jumps up to 55% for the group 16 to 24 years old.

I’m not a foster kid, but I had enough problems with my family that moving back home was never an option. I was homeless twice while trying to get a foothold in the adult world.

Similar here, you can only go forward.

Whatever forward that is, they sure are not all nice or good in any way. Gives a all present ominious sense of extential dread too.
