It taught me how much i wasted my youth by being a pussy and not improving my skills

My curiosity got the better of me and I watched a video of a drug cartel beheading three people. Two with a chainsaw, one with a knife. It was horrific and not quick.

If you’re ever tempted to watch something like that, do not do it. It’s not worth it. It’s been years and I still have random intrusive thoughts about it and it makes me physically ill.

Yeah, as a teenager I got curious and was on rotten.com, damn that website was dark. Some of the things I saw are still with me, I won’t describe them because it would be way too graphic. Basically what you said - do not do it there is nothing to be found except suffering.

I still have random intrusive thoughts about it and it makes me physically ill.

That’s a good thing in my book, the fact that that stuff still makes me feel bad is proof of my empathy and humanity, if you know what I mean? Like it didn’t desensitize me.

Edit: after I wrote the comment I noticed that the website got hyperlinked - don’t bother, thank God that site is offline now

I used to watch this stuff. It didn’t really bother me. Then my childish curiosity waned and I didn’t seek it out anymore. Then I saw a video randomly and I was fucking so disturbed and I thought what is wrong with me that I wanted to see that.

I guess I developed empathy at some point? I’ve seen some of the videos from Ukraine and they make me sick.

Sounds closer to ptsd than intrusive thoughts tbh

Originally ptsd was diagnosed to military AND first responders, first responders because they saw some shit.

Like you did

It’s all off camera but you hear a woman get smashed with a brick falling off a truck going the opposite direction on a highway at speed.

The husband’s and kids audible reactions are devastating

I thought in that case the rock had been thrown by some kids from an overpass, but I have never seen the whole thing. I ejected quickly as I could tell it would scar me.

The discrepancy between the post title and the comments is absolutely astounding

Honestly if you regret not making a move when you’re a kid at 62 flipping years old. I have to assume there’s tons more mistakes you’ve made.

I have very few regrets in life, so something like that wouldn’t affect me too much.

The video that scared me the most was a documentary about Robert Ben Rhoades, and let me be clear, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST looking him up. He was a serial killer who had a modified dungeon in the cab of his truck, which he used to torture and kill people. His story stuck with me for a couple of reasons: the manner in which he was caught, which in and of itself is a terrifying story, and the fact that there are photos on the Web that he took of his victims moments before death, and for me, that’s just something that stuck with me.

Even his mugshot is ghastly. The guy looks like he stepped out of a horror movie.

Did he have a stroke? Why he look like that?

Scariest video I watched was someone literally blowing their brains out with shotgun on a couch. Another regret would be reading Mai-chan’s Daily Life it was brutal but couldn’t stop reading for some reason just terrible. I do not recommend reading it .

Jesus Christ I read that piece of shit “hentai”. I honestly think that anyone who can get off on it needs to be separated from society.
