The outside observer probably thinks I am mentally ill (I evidently am). What do I do??
Edit: Post yours guys
Lol that’s a rookie mess. You need to start way more projects that you’re “going to finish any day now” and let them all sit for about 5 years.
Nah they all stick, but priorities are priorities.
New shiny is much higher on the to-do than the stack of #TODO in my git or the half finished stack of 3d printed parts, or that access point that is begging to be put back together.
It’s good having variety, I’m able to bounce between things while never really getting bored of one thing.
I cleaned up while I was in my last meeting
This mess actually feels quite cozy. I like it :D Also your setup is super cool!
Wow, thank you so much! It took me forever to figure out (and motivate to make happen)! I get so little encouragement in life, this is wonderful!
Nw :-) Did it use to be far more chaotic before the meeting where you tidied it up?
Cool setup! I wish I had thar many monitors.
It would SURELY fix my problem keeping track of tabs.
None are very good monitors. They’re all 1080p. I want a 4K monitor badly, but I have spent too much money lately (Goddamn online dopamine-fueled shopping addiction!). Anyway, the one on the far left is just a Walmart brand ONN and was less than $100. Also, people give away monitors all the time. Check Facebook marketplace and join your local Facebook Buy Nothing Group (I know, I hate Facebook, but it is good for these types of groups for me (also mechanical keyboards, and action figures).
Pff amateur
That’s not bad at all. 🤷🏻♂️
If potentially having mental illness is bothering you, see a doctor about it.
I got diagnosed in my 30s and holy damn meds changed everything. I took adhd meds for first time and 45 mins later remember thinking ‘is this how normies are all the time? You can think something and just do it?? No prep, no build up?!’
This is true. I have actually been to the doctor and he gave me stims, but that’s where it ended at. The stims definitely help me focus and give me the patience to do stuff like reading, showering, and homework, but they don’t affect the underlying neurodivergence in any way (ie. I’m still annoyed at change, still struggle to Go Out And Do Things in life). :(

Have you talked to doctor about those? You may have to seek out psychologist and/or therapist to get answers you’re looking for.
I wish I could go back and get diagnosed sooner. I barely remember my 20’s due to major depressive episodes. But I’m happy I’m figuring it out now instead of 10 or 20 yrs from now!
