ICE and Medical ID on play store are both crap.

Use a medic alert bracelet if you need something like that. EMTs are trained to look for it. They aren’t going to derp around looking at your phone.

On my (lineage) phone I can press "emergency " instead of typing the pin, and then reveal emergency contacts and medical information I choose to put there (allergy’s, medication etc)

I don’t think I installed an app. I assume its a aosp feature.

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but this app could be useful someday: https://github.com/ligi/SurvivalManual It’s also available in F-Droid, but didn’t receive any updates for 4 years. It’s basically an easily navigatable pdf that tells you what to do in a survival situation

I have this installed already. Might come in handy during the zombie apocalypse :)

In the United Kingdom, people just add a contact to their phone book called “ICE”. You can learn more here.

I dont get it, because the phone is locked usually. So you rely on the faceID on your uncobscious face or a fingerprint if your finger?

Most phones allow you to make emergency calls from from the lockscreen. I wouldn’t bother with an app if my xiaomi phone allowed me to have text info on the lockscreen. Not just medical info but also "if found pls contact - "

I used to do this but I’d prefer to have medical aid details, blood type and contacts accessible from lock screen.
