Even if it’s just reshoring, emission regulation and workers rights are stricter in US than in CH, so yeah.

Even better would be a sort of emission tarrif, instead of blanked tarrif.

Even if the tariffs reduced the amount of Chinese made vehicles imported into the US, emissions would still be created by US manufacturers shipping parts and materials from overseas to keep those margins up.
