I remember someone posting a great Android recipe app a while ago, but I can’t remember the name of it.

The feature that caught my interest was being able to download a recipe from free form pages.

Anyone got a suggestion?

Right now, nothing tops paprika.

It’s relatively expensive, even more so if you want it on multiple platforms as each one is a new purchase.

But there’s simply nothing out there better, period, much less on android. Better organization, better webclipping, better editing, better everything.

I tried every android recipe manager, and most of the windows based ones, plus some on iOS since my wife has the one flaw of preferring that (just joking, I ain’t mad at people preferring a brand) ecosystem.

Nothing could do everything paprika could do, and most of them didn’t do any single thing better.

That’s a great recommendation. I tried Paprika and a couple of others. Paprika is winning so far.

Another recommendation for Paprika. Been using for years and as another commenter said…nothing really tops it. Great scaling tools and it magically parses the ingredients versus the directions and builds in timers etc. Categorisation options are endless. Kind of a bummer that the PC version is another purchase (and a bit pricey). But the Android version is great (and pretty reasonable). I downloaded and sign in with an account that my wife and I share so we can both add recipes and have the same info.

I grabbed it yesterday. It does a great job of pulling recipes off sites.
