Finished Vox Machina season 3. Another step up from the previous season in almost every way. Really happy it was renewed for Season 4.

Yeah, same. It just gets better and better. I do sometimes wonder how it would appeal to people who don’t play D&D. Though I never followed Critical Role and like it so I guess that’s a point in its favor.

Well I can speak for myself and a few of my friends. None of us have played any D&D or similar ttrpgs and we barely knew of Critical Role. And most of us really enjoy the show.

i recently finished carol and the end of the world. i enjoyed it but not at first. i found the protagonist nearly insufferable, not immediately, but after some time. i think it’s kind of intentional, and the writers provide relief thankfully. it was worth watching.

On Anime

While Anime is a beloved animation style with a rich history and extensive following, our focus here leans towards other forms of animation. This is due to the immense popularity of Anime in online spaces, which is amply covered by other dedicated communities.

This doesn’t mean that Anime related conversation is not allowed here, only that it’s not our focus. For a dedicated Anime instance, check out ani.social.

On Technical Discussion

While our primary goal is to discuss animated media, conversations about animation techniques and the process of creating animation are also welcome.
