I always like when games let me customize social areas, and DRG desperately needs another resource sink to throw gold at.
A slight redesign to make the living quarters bigger and have them full of different cosmetic options would be fun I think.

I want the head of the drilldozer on the nightstand and a bunch of half broken auto-turrets on my desk.
Also, because this is now personal space, it could be a small space capsule that docks with the rig when you join the game.
