The zip won’t load in zsnex nevermind, I read the FAQ in the Zip. You load it as a mod

Make sure you are applying it to the 1.0 unheadered version of the ROM.

Also this patch is for the US version of the game, Final Fantasy III. Applying it to the Japan version VI won’t work.
