The hand-drawn and hand-coloured map sketch illustrates Great German fantasies of the “New Europe” under German rule: The “East” supplies the German Empire, enlarged by conquests, with products from industry and agriculture.

What I find interesting but can’t seem to figure out is the Netherlands is not coloured in, nor is Norway. Both of which the Nazis occupied at the time.

edit: Neither is Greece or Southern France, though southern France might be explained by the fact it was technically a collaborationist government with quasi-satellite state staus.
