I’ve seen a few new users here switching from lemmy.world after the incident there, but that might be coincidental
World has also repeatedly banned and wiped any piracy or piracy-adjacent communities which has silenced most of db0 over there
The community feels genuine, reasonable, and not reactionary. I don’t know why but that’s hard to find on the internet as a whole.
I migrated from lemmy.world because I wanted access to the piracy communities.
