Nooo, the British will now be inspired to build up their navy and sail around the world picking fights again! 😆

Seriously though, as someone who had avoided One Piece for so long after watching some other shonen and thinking nothing with that many episodes could be good and not just a ton of filler, One Piece is truly amazing, so I’m glad a bunch of new people will be able to enjoy it.

Emphasis on UK rights for the english dubbed episodes.

That’s completely non-news to anyone outside the UK.

VPN and YouTube-dl (or better yet yt-dlp) but in that case you could just sail the high seas using more conventional means

iPlayer needs a login, I can’t remember if you need to prove that you’ve paid for your TV licence

Last time I tried they just asked for an address, so I just put one in where I happened to know they had a license, and it worked.

Oh, interesting!

Well, I guess it’s still interesting to see this done by the BBC, other people might share if their own countries do something similar

On Anime

While Anime is a beloved animation style with a rich history and extensive following, our focus here leans towards other forms of animation. This is due to the immense popularity of Anime in online spaces, which is amply covered by other dedicated communities.

This doesn’t mean that Anime related conversation is not allowed here, only that it’s not our focus. For a dedicated Anime instance, check out ani.social.

On Technical Discussion

While our primary goal is to discuss animated media, conversations about animation techniques and the process of creating animation are also welcome. Whether you’re a budding animator seeking to understand more about the industry, or a seasoned professional sharing your experiences, you’re welcome here.
