I’ve been reading about these oceans under the surface of Mars. I feel like for the past 20 years. Are they freaking there or not?

We don’t have the tech to dig down several miles on Mars and take samples. We barely have that tech on earth.
All we know is, if you put a glorified loudspeaker on the ground and record what comes back, it sounds like it does on earth in places with water molecules inside the rock.

we are not going to Mars. not in the next 100 years.

even then a colony is probably hundreds of years away, we do not have the technology to survive there
