Like many biological items on Gleba they’re on a timer, however, they don’t “spoil” in the normal way. Wait too long and you may find yourself face to face with a hungry hatchling pentapod…
I guess it’s important to have turrets around where Penta eggs are being used!

Yes. I really like this new design, where suddenly you can’t just surround yourself with solid walls and turrets and then are safe forever.
