it’s incredible to me that there are still people who think folgers is what coffee is supposed to taste like

I imagine folks are buying the cheapest socially-acceptable caffeine* they can buy. I’ve never visited some nice big house somewhere and seen Folgers on the counter.

*aight it’s not just that the even-cheaper pills are cause for glances askew, hot & brown tasting must be desirable even when it’s coming from the worst of the worst hot brown liquids

My wealthy boomer in laws buy Folgers when we go to the beach.

I have always used “Folgers” as a synonym for absolutely shitty undrinkable coffee. So this makes sense honestly.

Haha somehow I could sense the Canadian-ness before clicking the notification. Does it also taste like burnt… Nothing?

It’s burnt nothing, but also sharp. Haha, didn’t realize I have a Canadian aura I send through the internet.
